And So I'm Back From Outer Space
Monday, April 28, 2008 @ 5:14 PM

I drew this on my Starbucks barista book when my managers were all ignoring me. Its the alien that brought me back to earth in his laser shooting spacecraft when i went to Jupiter. In hopes, of course, that i might get some Jupiter juice in my hair, fall for a shooting star and someone would miss me and write a song about it. Apparently though, of late, i could disappear from earth and no one would notice. The alien and i sighed as we saw the dying earth below us and dreamed up ideas to stop the massive amount of plastics bags being used everyday.

We were wondering over some alien frappuccinos why i often willingly find trouble for myself. I deserve a prize for going from a coach potato to the busiest person on earth in the fastest time. CJ dance, ballroom dance, dance videos, work, giving free tuition. Sadly it seems i also have a knack of picking trouble that reaps neither reward nor return as well.

Then again i shall not complain. Starbucks couldn't be more fun, lots of time spent with the J3 dancers, finally have a ballroom partner. All in all life couldn't get better. Except perhaps an acceptance letter from NUS and USP. But yes, i won't sigh and say I'm busy no more. I'll say with a smile instead from now on that i have a fulfilling life. Which i really do.

Someone asked me the other day what my dream was. Now that I've thought about it, i really don't know. Apparently i stopped dreaming somewhere along the lonely way. Of course theres always those silly ambitions like being a fighter jet pilot, a baker, a zoologist. Even a professional dancer. But those aren't dreams huh.

So what's your dream? What does a dream consist of anyway. Something unattainable? Something elusive? How much do we dare to and how much can we? I guess only time itself will shed light on our not very distant futures.

Meanwhile, we should all live for our todays and live them well. At the same time use less plastic bags and walk more drive less. You can shed some calories at the same time. Good offer right?

"Sing like no one is listening.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like no one is watching.
Live today like it's your last."

I do have one wish i want to achieve before i go to University. And that is leave this place and travel to somewhere far away on my own. Breathe in some foreign air and eat some foreign food. Then i can come back here and start anew. Start anew, search for my dream and live my todays like there is no tmr. Am i asking for too much? Haha perhaps.

Three cheers for Kimi Raikkonen for the Spanish GP win. Nothing puts more meaning into the word 'owning ass'. Well thats two words but whatever. I would go on for a few more paragraphs on the theatrics of the incredibly dramatic race run yesterday but it seems no one other than me seems to find such things interesting. As such i will spare you from F1 ranting.

Anyone would like my alien drawing in exchange for passes to the S'pore GP? You cant find the same drawing anywhere you know. Two good offers in one post, can't get any better.

I miss the Sims a lot. As i do miss Hilary, Germ and Faith.

Stay happy everyone. Till we meet again...
