Pass the Bubbly
Tuesday, June 16, 2009 @ 1:47 PM

Hello world. Its been a crazy month or so of break from school. Pretty downright crazy considering i only had 19 posts the whole of last year and yet this month alone i had enough content for more than 10. And what are we but only half way through June?

And like the day that passes from one to the next, so do some friends. An old day passes, a new day arrives. Sometimes they take their time to land at your doorstep. And like the dusk that takes its time to fade into morning dawn, you take your time to open them up, get to know them better. Other times however they fall straight into your lap from nowhere like a great big christmas present that has come too early. And you find yourself taken by surprise at how familiar they seem, and yet so new, and just how much you suddenly can't stand to be without them. And when you are, you can't think about anything else but when you're gonna see them again.

They always say that the best presents come in the smallest packages. I say that the best friends are found in the most unlikely of situations, for there is, afterall, really no better prize than one thats a surprise.

But as with all new beginnings, one can't help but wonder how long your shiny little bubble will last. Seasons come and seasons go. And if one thing's for certain on this stage, it'ld be that change will always come around, knock knock knocking on your dressing room door.

So don't pop the champagne just yet little ones. Brace yourselves and stay on the nice list. Hold on tight and don't let go. Sink your teeth in if you must. Santa may have been in a giving mood this year, but when his mind is cleared of leftover eggnog and whiskey from christmas past, he'll come to collect his tidings if he sees you on the naughty list.

Btw Santa, if you're reading, I want a bulldog for christmas this year.

Cheers. More bubbly anyone?
