My coffee, my library and ME.
Monday, October 19, 2009 @ 10:46 AM

We keep each other company, me and my cup of latte, as i peruse through notes about parenting styles alone in the library. A breath of fresh air to the lull of readings about play that have been my only companions for the past 2 weeks. The warm latte is consoling, coating my synapses with warm comfort and calm. I hope the sugarfied vanilla version i swapped with shane doesnt kill him from the sweetness. I just can't sacrifice when it comes to coffee, cant stomach sweet coffee.

Time has come for schedules to be made and notes to be written. Something in this coffee makes me feel like today will be a lovely day, even to use the word "lovely". Looks like its gonna be me and you everyday till finals are dead and gone my $2.20 latte.

Cheers.

I Hate Term Papers. I love Procrastinating
Sunday, October 11, 2009 @ 1:49 PM

Writing here as an excuse to take a break from writing my term paper. Term papers make me want to PB (puke blood). CTISTTM (cannot take it sial to the max). I hope everybody is doing alright, without me.........

Hils, i hope things are looking better and your hospital rounds interesting and fulfilling!

Ling, Hui & Ting!! I hope things are looking good in melb and you're all studying hard for your finals! I got news for you all when you come back hahaha. You guys should have a blog so that i know what's happening over there!!

Shu, my forever study partner regardless whether in SG or whether oceans and mountains seperate us. Together forever and never to part. Long live skype and ichat! Jia you!

Okay. Enough procrastinating from me. Time to return to my very evil developmental psych paper. I WILL FINISH IT BY TODAY.

Ok Rachel out.

Everyone-Is-Stressed-Out Time Has Come
Thursday, October 8, 2009 @ 4:44 PM

Sometimes the stresses and whirl of hustling and bustling in life gets us all worked up and we find that we soon forget who we are and what we once held dear. And all that becomes of us are worry and fear, worries about what to do next, when the next deadlines are, whether or not we will pull our caps further down the shithole this semester. While not to say that such notions are unimportant or wrong in any sense, we shouldn't let it blind us such that we forget in the whirl and let our emotions take us over. For is it not only those who would die for us that will dare to to come close enough, into our range of fire.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (Matt 6:25-27)

For as surely as macdonalds will refuse to sell me hotcakes now at 5:13 pm, God will make a way and the ones who care will still be there with their helmets on, pushing us forward every step of the weary way.

ONWARD MARCH! Milo peng okay? :)
